About Picuino¶
What it offers¶
Picuino offers free educational resources for Technology in Secondary Education, aligned with the curriculum.
Here you will find materials, activities, and practical projects ready to use and adapt in the classroom, designed to facilitate teaching and student learning.
The resources can be freely used, modified, and shared thanks to the licenses used, which promote a free culture.
Who it is for¶
If you are a Technology teacher in Secondary Education and are looking for open, clear, and ready-to-use classroom resources, this project is for you.
It is also useful if you are a student or want to learn Technology in a practical way.
How teaching and learning work¶
Learning is based on practice and problem-solving.
The content is designed for students to work autonomously, with clear explanations and activities that allow them to apply what they learn from the very beginning.
The goal is to learn by doing, promoting real understanding of concepts and their application.
Open philosophy¶
As a Technology teacher, I often encounter a problem: many educational resources are closed, difficult to adapt, or simply do not fit the reality of my classroom.
I believe educational materials should be:
- Open
- Reusable
- Adaptable
So that any teacher can modify, improve, and use them according to their needs.
This project is born from that idea.
You can read more about this way of understanding education in the Project Manifesto.
Collaboration¶
This is an open project.
You can collaborate by contributing ideas, suggesting improvements, or sharing resources to continue improving the content and better adapt it to the classroom.
If you are a teacher and use the resources on this website in your classes, you can join a group where teachers share their day-to-day classroom experiences.
If you feel like participating and sharing your experience, you are welcome.
This space is intended exclusively for teachers.
