Communications timeline¶
In this exercise, a wall should be made with a time line of the main milestones that have occurred in remote communications.
Among the major communications-related inventions are methods for representing information on physical media. For example writing, photography, printing, etc.
Another large group of inventions are modern devices that use electricity or radio waves to communicate from one point to another, such as the telegraph or telephone, and others that are used to disseminate information massively, such as radio and television.
Finally, today we have new Internet-based technologies that allow anyone to disseminate information in a massive way, such as blogs, forums, Instagram, etc.
Exercise¶
Download the following file with the main milestones in communications and represent on a large cardboard a time line with at least 20 of the main milestones in order. At least 15 images must be represented.
