Views¶
Views are drawings of a figure from different perspectives. Views are front view (viewed from the front), side view (viewed from the side), and top view (viewed from above). Specifically, we are going to use the European system, which orders the position of the three views differently from the American system.
This method of representing a three-dimensional figure in several drawings is called orthographic projection.
Below are exercises to obtain views of a figure, graduated in difficulty from the basic level to the most complex level with curved objects.
All the exercises have a version with the European system of views (front view to the right) and another unconventional version in which the front view has been chosen to the left of the figure and the side view to the right.
